Summer Weekend Happenings...

I will try my best to keep up with what has sorted out to be a very busy summer all of the sudden!


Starting with last weekend....


Oh, how I so remember all these songs!! Conjunction Junction, what's your function...Interplanet Janet...oh the list goes on and on (p.s. Uncle John was singing along too)!!! Took me a week, but here are photos of our Quincy, from her role in Schoolhouse Rock last weekend. We just love going to see her plays! She sang ever single song, and was "mercury rising" too! Such a talentented young lady she is. We are a proud auntie and uncle for sure!
Since it's already the next weekend, while I'm posting for last weekend...we are headed to spend tomorrow night at the Scottsdale Princess, and act like tourists with money...lay by the pool and drink some pina colada's!! Yee hoo!

    OMG--can't believe Quincy is such a mature young lady--time flies. Em, you look beautiful! Love your tank--great color on you. Oh, and my favorite song is Interplanet Janet--haven't had anyone sing that to me in a long time. ~Janet

Colorado Visit

Right after 6 month pics were taken, Rhett and Mommy went to visit the Colorado Grandparents.  We needed to get out of the heat for awhile and it was a great time.  We did a lot of visiting with everyone.  Rhett decided he LOVES the outdoors and he was truly in heaven the entire week.  We were able to relax on the porch, outside.  He discovered a couple of really awesome outdoor things.  Trees and Birds.  He loved just being outside gazing up into the trees, and he even got his hands on a few, tearing the leaves and branches he could muster off the limbs.  He also spotted geese, black birds and even had an encounter with some chickens!  He rolled around in some green cold grass, received several puppy kisses, worked on his crawling, yoga & hopping skills.  Mommy raided Granddads garden before returning home.  A fun time was had by all.
