RB EB Happenings

Not a snow lover, in Colorado  With her buddy, Schatzi dog.  It was an incredibly sad day in our house yesterday, as our 'big girl' Rottweiler, Ellie, suffered a seizure and we had to put her down.  She went into a seizure in the middle of the day and it really just never stopped.  We rushed her to the emergency vet, and after nearly an hour without reprieve, and medicines not working, we made a very hard decision.  They advised us that more than likely she had a brain tumor which caused it. This was completely unexpected and a devastating loss to us.  Ellie was the sweetest girl and such a furry Mommy to our baby boy Rhett.  She protected us at all times.  She was always 'on guard' with Rhett.  Even recently, when Rhett learned how to pull up to a stand, she would often simply stand behind him waiting to break his fall so he would not risk hitting the hard floors.  Once Rhett started crawling, she also 'herded' him, by nuzzli...
