A few more pics, I just can't help myself!

There were so many good pictures from yesterday, I just have to post a few more!  These all came from Auntie Cindy's camera.  She captured one of my most favorite expressions that Rhett has, which we call "The O Face".  He makes this perfect 'O' with his mouth, how is it possible?  He also does a great "talk to the hand".  All of his little noises, actions and reactions continue to amaze me every second, not to mention make me incredibly happy and so proud to be his Mommy...I'll say it over and over, HE is the best decision I ever made.  A good friend has told me over the years that you will never ever regret having a child, but you would surely regret not having one.  She is right.   I'm so very blessed.

The Easter Bunny is comin ya know....

Happy Easter (a little early)!!   Baby Boy in a basket, along with a sleepy baby after a long day of photos.... We had so much fun today, taking lots of pictures.  I got to play with Danica, Hannah, Chloe, Auntie Cindy, Auntie Rhonda, and Auntie Jayde...it was a busy day!  I was the only little man surrounded by all these lovely young ladies, and women.  I can see this will benefit me greatly as I grow up to be a gentleman!  (Daddy just snuck in for a picture, then he took off, you'd think he was scared of all these girls!)   I had to wear my tye dye outfit that my Auntie Shelly made me, so I kind of look like a dyed easter egg anyway!  I love my tye dye!!  Did you see my new little friends, Pooh and Thumper?  They came to me all the way from Hawaii, my Uncle Brian picked them out for me.  I really love them, as they are so soft and cuddly, and they make my first Easter special.   That was, until Danica tried to eat Pooh.  It's ok, she is getting teeth and couldn'

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Just chillin' with my buddy Mr. Frog Thanks to my Auntie Janet and good buddy Trey - they sent me this cute outfit so that I'm really stylin' this holiday.  The front says "Mommy thinks I'm Charming"...that I do little man, that I do.... 5 week old Doctor Visit Stats and News: We went to the pediatrician on Monday, most news was good, except that we have determined Rhett to be a bit colic at night time.  Thankfully, he is not screaming and some nights are better than others.  Pediatrician confirmed, and said we can do whatever sooths him.  That would be a bath.  Needless to say, he is the cleanest kid this side of the Mississippi.  LOVES his baths.  He also had to get a shot, which was quite tramatic, he screamed and cried and was not a happy camper the rest of the day.  The Bugs Bunny bandaid was just not enough.  Mean nurse. Weight:  10lbs 14 3/4oz  (gained 2 1/4 lbs!) Height:  22 1/4" (grew 1 1/4"!) We have had lot

One Month Old - The things I have learned....

Image
It's hard to believe he is a month old today...Rhett In a very short time, I have learned a lot about being a mother, and I am certain and hopeful that what I know will be only the beginning...this is so much work...and so much fun!! I have learned that you can do virtually anything with one hand...dishes, typing, fix a bottle, your makeup, feed the dogs, clean up a mess, laundry... I have learned that there is nothing that will make your heart melt as the child you carried for nine months... I have learned that you can be pooped on and pee'd on and you still love them.... I have learned that warm wet wipes, bottle warmers and pampers are worth it.... I have learned that Mommies are the heart of a family, and Daddy's need them too..... I have learned that the middle of the night, and early in the morning doesn't have to be all that bad, as long as it's for them....(but I still don't think I will become a morning person) I have learned that the do
